ABOUT MATT STERLING...
Matt Sterling is a 24-year-old professional poker player. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship in May of 2004. He turned pro later on that year on September 1, 2004. Matt started out playing four tables of 2/4, then started eight tabling and moved up to 3/6 where he stayed for a while. He has played all the way up to 50/100, but is currently playing 5/10 6 max-20/40.
Matt also plays some major tourneys now and then to get away from the daily grind of Internet poker and has done well in that area with two final tables and made his national television debut in November of 2005. The "Indiana Matt" nickname comes from the tourney circuit. He was being called Indiana by most of the players during the Ultimate Poker Challenge, and then during the television taping of the final table, the crew refered to him as Indiana Matt. His future plans are to keep doing what he is doing and to keep improving and working harder. He loves the life of a pro, as the freedom to do what he wants, when he wants, is worth a lot to him.
